2. Admission criteria for L.K.G., is there any cut off date for admission to L.K.G, has the Council for the ICSE laid down any such rules?
Ans. The Council has not set out any such rules, however, it is mandatory for all the affiliated schools to follow their respective State Government norms regarding the same.
3. Even if I pass in all subjects can I give a re-exam on 3 subjects?
Ans. Yes, you may apply for a Supplementary pass certificate in one or more subjects.
4. Is there any procedure for State board students passing class 10th, to give class 12th examination privately from ICSE Board?
Ans. The Council does not permit private candidates for its examinations. Only regular school candidates of ISC/ICSE examination who were not awarded pass certificates are eligible to appear for ISC/ICSE exams in the following year as CANDIDATES NOT IN ATTENDANCE at the school.

Ans. No it is not possible to get your name changed on the documents issued by the Council with retrospective effect

Ans. Dear Sir, Please note that no affidavit is required for issue of a mark sheet. The application for request of duplicate mark sheet can be directly sent to the Council.

Dear Concerned, In my ICSE marksheet & Certificate, there is a typo error in the spelling of my name, it has been misspelled as Mansih Chandra, while in my ISC marksheet & certificate the spelling is correct, now that is creating a problem for me, I want to know the procedure where in I can get the NEW MARKSHEET & CERTIFICATE OF ICSE, with correct name, what is the fees I need to pay for it. Ans. Please forward your application through the Principal of your school in order to enable the Council to take appropriate action in this regard.

Ans. Please contact your school regarding the same and please send us your Index number with which you appeared for the Exam.
14. sir,i passed my 12th exam from ISC board in 2001. My overall % is 59.4 i.e. 3 marks less than 60%.i want to improve my percentage. How can I apply? Can i give improvement exam in few subjects in yr 2007?
Ans. You can re-appear in some of your papers to improve your grade. However the last date for entry to ISC March 2007 Examination was September 15, 2006. If you desire you can appear in ISC March 2008 Examination if you fulfill the required conditions.

Ans. This would be decided by the admitting University/College. Council has not prescribed rule for calculating average marks.

Ans. Please note that it is mandatory for a candidate to have passed Class X of ICSE with a pass in second language to be eligible for admission to Class XI of ISC. If the candidate is unable to do so then the candidate is required to pass in second language of ICSE at the end of Class XI before being declared eligible for promotion to Class XII, in preparation for the ISC Class XII Examination. The candidates admission till then remains provisional and is not registered for the Class XII Examination.

Ans. She has to first appear for the Class XI final examination from her school in the subject Mathematics. The Principal of the school will then certify that the concerned pupil has studied and passed class XI examination in the subject and that she may be allowed to appear fin the ISC Class XII examination of the subject. Please note that the last date for entering for ISC March 2007 Examination for a Supplementary pass Certificate is September 15 of the academic year.

Ans. In order to be able to be considered for admission to Class XI of ISC a candidate with Class X pass from IGCSE must have passed Class X with English and three other subjects recognised by the Council.
